The Saari Girl & Beyond

The Saari Girl is Pakistan's first online saree store founded by cultural anthropologist, Aiza Hussain in 2019. As Aiza searched for an affordable semi-formal saree to wear at a university dinner, she was struck by the lack of saree options in the Pakistani market. In her pursuit of budget friendly sarees for herself and her friends, she founded The Saari Girl, Pakistan’s pioneer online saree store. The Saari Girl is premised on sustainable fashion choices, promoting normalisation of sarees across Pakistan vis-a-vis slow fashion and love for South Asian craft. The Saari Girl is the country’s largest saree platform, now with an on ground studio presence in Lahore. We house more than 500 sarees and ship worldwide to meet all your saree needs!
